Welcome to the 2022 Lagoon 46 catamaran Starry Night, the gold standard of the midsize luxury sailing
vessels.
Spacious beyond her size, Starry Night features day beds, couches, bow beds, a flybridge, and
enough exterior places to relax to accommodate every guest as you enjoy your boutique sailing charter
experience.
Soak up the sun from the comfort of the large comfortable flybridge couch or just take in a beautiful
evening under the stars while enjoying the top-quality service experience provided by your
knowledgeable and professional crew.
Enjoy the customized dining experiences as you and your loved ones are treated to three first class meals onboard each day. Take advantage of daily trips to stunning
beaches, new islands, water-sports activities, and on-land experiences, all guided and facilitated by your
expert crew.
In addition to the world class sailing grounds of the Virgin islands, the water sports experience offered by
Starry Night includes two sea scooters, two battery powered Nomad Snuba devices, two stand-up
paddle boards, snorkel gear for each guest, oversized noodles, floating dock, and trolling
fishing equipment. For the adrenaline partial guests, Starry Night also features tow-sports including
tubing.
A charter with Starry Night in the Virgin Islands also offers the possibility of a
variety of incredible off-vessel water sports experience possibilities including: rendezvous dives, kite
boarding, guiding fishing tours, parasailing, and so much more.
Starry Night hosts up to 6 guests in three queen-sized, air-conditioned cabins. Each cabin features its
own, private ensuite bathroom with a separate shower. Each room is equipped with outlets, USB
charging, ocean views, and daily cabin service.

All certified divers are required to present their certification cards and inform the crew if any rental equipment will need to be arranged. If guests are interested in trying scuba diving, the crew will arrange a Discover Scuba Diving. The crew will build this into the itinerary and make the necessary arrangements.

MEET YOUR CREW:
CAPTAIN: Kevin Askew
CHEF: Desre Askew
Kev is a South African who grew up in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth, where the ocean has always been a big part of his life. He developed his passion for the ocean and sailing during his time in the South African Navy. He thrives on adventure and, apart from sailing, much of his fun time was spent on long-distance surf-ski racing and mountain-bike ultra marathons.
And if that’s not enough to keep him busy, Kevin has a wonderfully diverse range of interests. He is an avid beekeeper, has an endless knowledge of wildlife and sealife, and enjoys following the world's markets.
With a lifelong connection to the sea, a love of adventure, Kevin brings experience, enthusiasm and a great sense of humour to every charter.
He is always looking forward to making sure everyone on board has a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Chef Des is a South African chef with a serious eye for detail, a big love for food, and a talent for creating dishes that people remember long after the last bite.
Coming from a family with a strong hospitality and food background, Des has grown up around great food and even greater work ethic. She takes real pride in what comes out of her galley and loves nothing more than seeing guests fall in love with what’s on their plate.
Her cooking brings flavors from around the world - from beautifully presented continental classics to aromatic oriental-inspired dishes. She loves keeping things fresh, fun and a little unexpected.
With a warm, fun-loving personality, Des, loves to meet people and establish long lasting friendships.
Both Kev and Des have been working together for many years as an energetic and fun-loving team. Their shared passion for adventure, hospitality and the ocean, combined with their complementary skills and strong work ethic, allows them to create a relaxed, professional and enjoyable experience for every guest.

We are a family of four that includes two mid twenties daughters and each said it was the best vacation ever.
Starry Night was the perfect vessel as each daughter had their own berth and we had a rock star crew of Tiggie and Capt Murray. Somehow they seamlessly blended in with our family while serving our every need.
Tiggie managed to amaze us with her cooking skills always working with a smile.
Capt Murray had things under control the entire trip. The boat was great, but the crew was the straw that stirred the drink.
