CAPTAIN EDVIN KORENOV
Edvin Korenov is a Croatian professional yacht skipper with more than 10 years of maritime experience and over 10,000 nautical miles completed across the Mediterranean, including international yacht deliveries between France, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Croatia. He began his maritime career through recreational sailing before progressing into full time professional yachting, gaining extensive experience on sailing yachts, catamarans, and motor yachts. Since 2020, he has served as skipper onboard a 60 ft luxury catamaran operating throughout the Mediterranean, working closely with a professional chef and hostess to deliver high end charter experiences focused on safety, smooth onboard operations, and attentive guest service. Prior to this, he worked as skipper and delivery captain across Croatia and the Mediterranean on private charters, multi day cruising programs, regattas, and yacht deliveries. Known for calm decision making, strong seamanship, and a guest oriented approach, his expertise includes advanced navigation and passage planning, yacht handling, anchoring and mooring operations, deck management, and crew coordination. Outside of yachting, his interests include diving, skiing where he also works as an instructor, hiking, and swimming.

His culinary journey has taken him through some of Croatia’s most respected kitchens, including the Michelin-recommended Pod Zidom Bistro and Kinoteka Restaurant, as well as prestigious luxury yachts and exclusive private villas along the Adriatic coast.
Bartul specializes in Mediterranean, Asian, Italian, and traditional Croatian cuisine, creating tailor-made menus that reflect both international sophistication and local culinary heritage. His experience aboard luxury motor yachts such as M/Y Morning Star, M/Y Hunky Dory of London, and M/Y Crystal has refined his ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences while adapting seamlessly to the highest expectations of private owners and charter guests.
Throughout his career, Bartul has demonstrated outstanding leadership, managing kitchen teams, controlling budgets, sourcing premium ingredients, and maintaining impeccable standards of food quality and presentation. With over eight years of experience in hospitality and yachting, Tamara Pavelić brings exceptional service, culinary talent, and
a warm, positive energy to every charter aboard Spirit of Life. Whether preparing delicious Mediterranean meals, setting elegant tables, maintaining immaculate interiors, or assisting on deck, she ensures that every aspect of your journey is seamless and enjoyable. Her professional background includes service aboard luxury sailing and motor yachts such as Lagoon 50, Lagoon 52, Fountaine Pajot 47, Bali 4.8, Leopard 50, and Ferretti 680. She also serves as an instructor at the Croatia Sailing Academy, where she trains future yacht stewardesses
in hospitality standards and onboard procedures. Tamara holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Rijeka and combines her academic background with strong practical skills, including menu planning, provisioning, food safety, guest service, and basic navigation support. In addition to her yachting expertise, Tamara is a certified diver, yoga teacher, first aid responder, and licensed Croatian skipper. Fluent in Croatian and English, with a basic knowledge of Italian, Tamara is known for her professionalism, adaptability, and genuine enthusiasm for life at sea.
