About the Crew
Mario Mijic, Captain, Croatian
Mario was born in Split, Croatia in 1979. When he was a small child he knew that his profession would be strongly connected with the sea. Mario is a real can-do captain and has sea salt running through his veins. Dynamic and professional, he is good with children and demanding charter guests at the same time. Mario started his career after finishing Maritime high school and Maritime Management in Split during which time he has already delivered luxury motor yachts from shipyards, attended yacht surveys, as well as being appointed as the first captain on private and commercial yachts measuring 21-33m including also larger passenger ships. Mario joined SEA BREEZE II in January 2023 having taken care of the refit.
Sociable and with a smiling face captain Mario makes sure guests will feel at home away from home. Mario speaks native Croatian, English, Italian as well as passive German. He is a non-smoker and practices various sports in his free time ranging from swimming, skiing, sailing, tennis, and football. Mario also has a big passion for MTB riding and even participates in cross-country races.
Kristina Marović, Stewardess, Croatian
Kristina was born in 1990 and joined the hospitality and catering industry in 2008 working in restaurants and hotels until 2021 before she joined the yachting industry as a hostess/stewardess. Specializing in healthy Mediterranean food, Kristina soon proved superb organizational skills being a great team worker. Very service-orientated and responsible Kristina joined SEA BREEZE II in 2023 coming from a Sunseeker 30m charter yacht and a 36 private yacht.
In her free time, she likes to travel and is active in various sports. Her second passion besides the sea is music and Kristiina is very proficient in playing piano.
Toni Jelicic, Deckhand, Croatian
Toni was born in 1992 in Split on the Croatian coast and started his nautical career in 2011 after graduating from Maritime high school. Toni joined SEA BREEZE II in 2022 for her maiden charter season and has been the deckhand on private yachts measuring up to 36m. Toni is a team player, taking care of the guests' safety and assisting with all types of water sports.
Robert Stipcevic, Chef, Croatian
Born in the coastal town of Rijeka, Croatia, in 1967, Chef Robert has always felt a deep connection to the sea. After graduating from naval high school, he found a way to combine his lifelong passion for the ocean with his love of cooking - launching his career as a yacht chef in 2007.
Robert brings a wealth of experience from both land and sea, having honed his culinary skills in high-end hotel restaurants, including the renowned Ice Hotel in Iceland. In 2023, he returned to luxury yachting, bringing with him an impressive repertoire of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
His professional approach and warm personality make him a favorite among guests. Always wearing a smile, Robert ensures that every meal is not only delicious but also part of a memorable experience aboard SEA BREEZE II.
When he's not in the galley, Robert enjoys spearfishing, diving, photography, and riding his motorbike - his spirit of adventure as strong on land as it is at sea.
Robert is fluent in English, Italian, and Croatian.
