About the Crew
NICOLAS ZINGGREBE | CAPTAIN | GERMAN
EXPERIENCE:
I started off my career on a 40mts yacht as first officer where I was able to form myself in all aspects of a vessel, from maintenance and upkeep to management and admin. During my time on board, we cruised the Balearic area extensively as well as south of France, Monaco and the Genoa golf (up to Porto Fino). After three seasons on board I decided it was time for me to take the leap and become Captain, and I was able to do so on a 56ft Azimut charter vessel, my first season long command. During the same season I spent two months in Italy (Amalfi coast) on board a 64ft Sirena that was part of the same fleet. After an intense season on board the Azimut and Sirena I was able to join a Princess 68ft, taking her from a bare bone vessel to fully charter ready one and went on to spend three seasons on board operating exclusively around the Balearic Islands as a private/chaters vessel. I’m now proudly the new captain on board SÁSTA, a 78ft lagoon power catamaran.
HOBBIES:
CrossFit, diving, snowboarding, longboarding, tinkering with cars.
CRUISING AREAS:
Balearic Islands, South of France, Monaco, Amalfi coast.
WHAT CAN GUESTS EXPECT FROM YOU:
A professional Captain that is approachable, will do everything to always insure the best possible time on board and a special lookout for safety.
WHAT ARE YOUR MOST POSITIVE POINTS:
Young, dynamic, multilingual (English, French, Spanish, German) and experienced.
WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT YOU:
That I am always happy.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE:
“When life give you lemons, make orange juice and leave everyone wondering how you did it."
TAUNNEE FOURIE | CHEF | SOUTH AFRICAN
EXPERIENCE:
I have been in the hospitality industry since 2009 in different departments from front house to kitchen. Sole stew, cook and deck hand in 2018 on a 15 to 20m sailing cat. I started working on SÁSTA as a chef in the beginning of 2022.
HOBBIES:
Exploring new places, Diving, Yoga, Hiking, Reading, Woodworking
CRUISING AREA:
Fiji, Indonesia, Turkey, Mediterranean Sea, Australia
WHAT CAN GUESTS EXPECT FROM YOU:
Alot of singing in the galley – and not always on tune...
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE STYLE COOKING:
I love cooking with fresh wholesome ingredients and experimenting with flavours.
WHAT ARE YOUR MOST POSITIVE POINTS:
Naturally friendly disposition, positive, honest & vibrant.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE:

MARTINA | STEWARDESS | CROATIAN
EXPERIENCE:
I have a background in interior, product and costume design (movies, TV shows, theatre, opera, musicals etc.) and different roles in tourism. I was working as an Entertainment Manager, Booking Agent in a tourist office and Tour Guide. These different roles I have held in hospitality have given me a strong passion for creating unique experiences for my clients. My first experience on a boat was as a Tour Guide along the coastlines of Croatia and Turkey. I worked with groups of up to 30 people, mostly guests from the United States, New Zealand, and England. I decided to pursue a more personal approach to hospitality, which led me to take a mixology course and join my first catamaran as a solo Stewardess/Chef in Croatia.
HOBBIES:
Dance, playing musical instruments, fire art, music production, art and design, reading, hiking, traveling.
CRUISING AREAS:
Turkey and Croatia
WHAT CAN GUESTS EXPECT FROM YOU:
Guests can expect my warm and personalised service, positive energy, attention to detail, and a memorable onboard experience especially with some signature cocktails tailored by their preferences.
WHAT ARE YOUR MOST POSITIVE POINTS:
I’m good at noticing the little things guests need and making them feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home on board.
WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT YOU:
That I am a strong person, and always keep a positive mindset.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE:
"Happiness is a matter of choice!"
RAMIRO SOLIS | DECKHAND | ARGENTINIAN
EXPERIENCE:
I began my yachting career as a greenie, where I quickly discovered my passion for the maritime world and embraced every opportunity to learn. My hands-on experience began with general deck duties, line handling, and assisting with water sports and guest service. While SÁSTA is my first long-term placement on a superyacht, I bring with me a strong work ethic, a proactive attitude, and a deep respect for the team dynamic that’s essential on board. I'm proud to be joining the SÁSTA crew and look forward to growing within this industry and contributing to unforgettable guest experiences.
HOBBIES:
CrossFit, football, hiking, and travel.
CRUISING AREAS:
Mediterranean
WHAT CAN GUESTS EXPECT FROM YOU:
A respectful, trustworthy, and courteous presence. I’m committed to ensuring guests feel comfortable and well looked after at all times
WHAT ARE YOUR MOST POSITIVE POINTS:
My optimism, positive energy, and constant willingness to assist wherever needed.
WHAT DO OTHERS SAY ABOUT YOU:
I am often told that I convey a sense of peace and confidence, and that my calm and steady nature is reassuring to those around me.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE:
"Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people."

This entire trip exceeded our expectations! The yacht is in incredible condition, and the crew went above and beyond in every way. And Taunnee, your cooking is top-notch! See you all next year! xxx
Client | 12 - 18 June 2024
We loved everything about SÁSTA—the space, the cabins, and, most importantly, the incredible crew! We're already planning to return next year in the Balearics with our grandchildren and are excited to finalize our dates as soon as possible!
Client | 27 August - 3 September 2023
We loved our cruise, everything was perfect, even the weather! We're finding it really hard to get over it; returning to real life seems complicated. The crew was fantastic. These are our best vacation memories, and I think it's going to be difficult not to go back there 😜.
Broker | 31 May - 8 June 2025
Our clients had an outstanding experience on SÁSTA! They were incredibly impressed with Nico, the crew, and the yacht. With years of charter experience, they gave the crew top marks for professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. Taunnee’s meals were described as delicious, and the service was exceptional. The clients particularly enjoyed their first experience on a power catamaran, especially the bow setup. They’re already planning another charter for next year, hoping to have SÁSTA, Nico, and the crew available again. We truly appreciate the exceptional service and would eagerly book SÁSTA for future clients.

Thank you Captain Nico to you and your crew for looking after these guests so well! All feedback I received during the charter was excellent – they were having a blast and said the crew were amazing and the food was great. It is fantastic to hear you received such positive feedback too and the kids left you thank you cards. If I receive any additional feedback I will of course share this with you.
Maurits – please feel free to use me as a reference.
Captain Nico - it was a pleasure to work with you too, nothing was too much trouble for you and the yacht looked immaculate! I hope to work with you again soon.
