About the Crew
Captain TJ Gibson grew up in Palmetto Point, Eleuthera, where the ocean has always been an important part of his life. From an early age, he spent countless days on and around the water, developing a deep respect for the sea and an intimate knowledge of the islands.
His passion for the ocean led him to become a scuba instructor, giving him the opportunity to share the beauty of The Bahamas with others in a safe, knowledgeable, and engaging way. TJ is especially proud of his Eleutheran roots and enjoys introducing guests to quiet coves, secluded beaches, and lesser-known spots that make the islands so special.
Warm, professional, and attentive, Captain TJ takes great pride in creating relaxed, memorable days on the water while ensuring his guests feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their time aboard.

Enjoy swimming, paddleboarding, beach time, and relaxing in crystal-clear turquoise water.
Green Cay
A popular snorkeling destination with the possibility of seeing green sea turtles and other marine life.
Pig Beach at Athol Island
Visit the friendly swimming pigs at Athol Island. A local caretaker admission fee applies and is paid separately.

Although SAPPHIRE SEA is primarily offered for private day charters, select shorter overnight charters may be considered based on availability, itinerary, and owner approval.

5 Days / 4 Nights: $26,500

Rates accommodate up to six overnight guests in three ensuite guest staterooms.

Bahamas taxes: 14% of the base charter fee
Advance Provisioning Allowance: Generally 25%–35%
Crew gratuity: Customarily 15%–20%
Repositioning or delivery expenses, when applicable
Third-party activities and services
The Advance Provisioning Allowance, or APA, funds variable charter expenses such as food, beverages, fuel, dockage, consumables, and guest-requested purchases.
The captain maintains an accounting of APA expenses. Any unused funds are returned at the conclusion of the charter. If actual expenses exceed the amount collected, the difference is payable separately.
Overnight itineraries and repositioning requests are reviewed individually and remain subject to weather, marine conditions, operational feasibility, and the yacht’s existing schedule.
