About the Crew
Captain - Anthony 'Tony' Morgan
Tony hails from the south coast of the UK and has been on the water since before he can remember. Starting out in a pond sailing Optimists before progressing to larger sailboats and yachts. He has been a captain since the age of 18, having received his qualifications upon graduating secondary school. After studying Ancient History and History at University (and now loaded with facts about all his charter destinations!) and a brief stint in Marketing, he found his way back to the sea in 2016 to start a full-time career as a charter captain. He has run charters across large portions of the Mediterranean, including Greece, Croatia, Turkey and Sicily, as well as crossing the Atlantic multiple times to work in the Caribbean for winter seasons.
Most recently, Tony has spent his time in the BVI both running crewed yachts and teaching sailing courses for a well-known sailing school based in Tortola. He has been a captain for the last three seasons aboard the power catamaran 'Mare Blu', and he looks forward to showing his guests aboard 'Perfect Landing' all of his BVI 'secret spots!'
Chef - Darcy Drewyer
Darcy Drewyer is an experienced yacht chef with years of culinary expertise in some of the world's most stunning destinations, including the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and French Polynesia. With a background in Environmental Economics, Darcy brings a unique perspective to her role, combining a deep appreciation for sustainable practices with a passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences.
Before embarking on her yachting career, Darcy's love for travel and food was nurtured by her grandmother, who instilled in her the belief that the best stories are shared over great meals. This philosophy drives Darcy to create dishes that not only delight the palate but also reflect the rich cultures and traditions of the places she visits. Whether she's sourcing fresh local ingredients from a bustling market in the Mediterranean or crafting innovative fusion dishes inspired by the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean, Darcy's culinary creations are a testament to her dedication and creativity. Her ability to tailor menus to the preferences and dietary needs of her guests, combined with her warm, personable approach, ensures that every meal is a memorable experience.
When Darcy isn't in the galley, she’s scuba diving new destinations, soaking up local cultures, and continuously expanding her culinary repertoire. Her journey as a yacht chef is fueled by a love of adventure, a respect for the environment, and a deep-seated passion for bringing people together through the universal language of food.
Stewardess - Maya Beiers
Hailing from Australia, Maya grew up with a passionate sailor for a father and soaked up his love for the sea by osmosis. She began her career studying Remedial Sports Massage in Melbourne, although initially focusing on athlete management she pivoted to use her qualification to pursue a lifestyle where travel and work could be combined.
Over the past eight years, Maya has worked all over the world, across multiple super yachts as a stewardess-massage therapist and in event management in the sailing tourism industry. From crossing both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, to living on tropical islands, she loves the endless, unique opportunities and experiences that this lifestyle presents to her, as well as the many incredible people she gets to meet along the way.
Onboard Perfect Landing, she hopes to use her unique and varied hospitality background to deliver guests an exceptional and unforgettable experience on their sailing holiday!
