Captain: Brent Daw
Brent has over 30 years global sailing experience and has accrued more than 500,000 global nautical miles from Antarctica to Alaska. His previous Captaincy roles have required complete discretion, working within private family or organization boundaries. With globally recognized Master qualifications, he also has proven experience managing staff, vessel, and charter trips. He is passionate about sharing his wealth of experience with guests, enabling them to explore and discover the islands and local areas that the yacht can visit. He has a keen interest in water sports, including snorkelling, diving, and other general water activities. Brent is proud to be the Captain onboard PACIFIC MERMAID, a yacht that offers a truly unforgettable experience. With its charm and expertly managed crew, the PACIFIC MERMAID is capable of turning your dreams into a reality.

Chef: Arthur Vallego
Arthur is the talented chef aboard Pacific Mermaid, creating exceptional dining experiences throughout the islands of Tahiti. Skilled in both local Polynesian cuisine and international dishes, he combines fresh island ingredients with culinary influences from around the world. Whether preparing traditional poisson cru, freshly caught seafood, or elegant fine dining menus, Arthur’s passion and versatility ensure every meal is a memorable part of the journey.

Stewardess: Lily Hargrove
With a background in luxury hospitality and a passion for providing exceptional guest service, Lily brings her bubbly personality and strong work ethic to her role. From attentive service and beautifully presented interiors to morning coffees and sunset cocktails, she aims to make every detail of your time onboard seamless and memorable.

Deckhand: Ben Gilchrist
Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Ben started out as a skilled electrician before pursuing a new adventure as a deckhand on superyachts. Their technical expertise and attention to detail make them a valuable asset for onboard maintenance and deck operations. Reliable and dedicated, Ben is committed to ensuring a safe and memorable experience for guests and crew alike.
