About the Crew
Captain Daniel Durao
Captain Daniel Durao is a professional yacht captain holding an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification with Commercial Endorsement, earned through an intensive eight-month programme at UKSA in Cowes.
Daniel began his career working aboard private owners’ vessels of approximately 40 feet and has since logged more than 35,000 nautical miles throughout the Mediterranean. His experience includes multiple passages to the Canary Islands, regular voyages between Greece and Barcelona, and an offshore delivery from Barcelona to the Red Sea.
In September 2024, Daniel stepped up to command a Jeanneau 60. He currently serves as captain of Millennium Falcon II, bringing extensive experience across both monohulls and catamarans. He is highly proficient in marine electronics and vessel systems and is known for his meticulous, safety-first approach to navigation, yacht management, and guest care.
Daniel combines strong offshore seamanship with sound technical knowledge and a calm, professional manner. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

Deckhand/Host Salvador Burnay
Salvador Burnay is an experienced Portuguese deckhand, aged 39, whose career has been shaped by a lifelong passion for sailing, competitive racing, and yachting.
Born into a family of sailors, Salvador began sailing at a very young age. His experience in sailing competitions has taken him abroad many times, allowing him to travel extensively, meet people from different backgrounds, and develop a genuine appreciation for diverse cultures.
Highly attentive to the yacht’s maintenance and presentation, Salvador takes pride in ensuring that every detail on board is carefully looked after. With a friendly and professional manner, he is always happy to assist guests and help create an enjoyable and memorable week aboard Millennium Falcon II.
Salvador is also an enthusiastic water-sports companion who enjoys introducing guests to activities on the water. He relates particularly well to children and takes great pleasure in teaching guests the fundamentals and artistry of sailing. His positive attitude, practical skills, and approachable nature make him a valued member of the crew.
