Captain Mate started his career on the 27m gulet Eleganza in 2008 when he earned his Yacht Master. Over the years he built a fantastic reputation and is considered one of the best Captains in the Adriatic. A very competent, discreet and softly spoken Captain, and together with his crew, he will ensure a wonderful time onboard Luna. Mate is married with 2 children. Mate speaks English and Croatian.

" We do a lot of sailing in Croatia, we come back every year as a large family group. We have tried several different yachts but LUNA is by far the best fit for us. She is really well maintained and has tons of deck space on four levels - so we do not all feel crammed in to a small area. This feels like being on a much more expensive yacht for a fraction of the cost. And the kids love splashing in the jacuzzi and diving off the swimming platform at the back. The charter rate includes: shipboard accommodation, permits, insurance, all equipment on board, tender with outboard engine, linens & towels, 1,500 Euro for the main engine and AC, yacht cleaning, gasoline for tender, diesel for generator running 24/h day, welcome drinks and snacks.
FOOD & DRINKS PACKAGES:
Food Package is Mandatory;
- A half board arrangement (breakfast lunch OR dinner) charged at 600.00 Euro per person per week. A light full board with a 1 course lunch (breakfast, 1 course meal lunch and a 3 course meal dinner) charged at 900.00 Euro per person per week. A full board arrangement charged at 980.00 Euro per person per week. An extra dinner charged at 70 Euro per person this can be combined with the half board arrangement (no more than 3 dinners onboard). Discounts for catering for children (2 to 10 years old - 50% discount on food).
- An all-inclusive domestic and international drinks package charged at 450.00 Euro per person per week can be arranged upon request (it includes Croatian premium wine (a selection of 3 red, 3 white and 3 rose), Croatian beer, Croatian spirits, Imported spirits such as Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, Rum, Bacardi, Aperol, Campari, Burbon (please ask for the full list) soft drinks including tea, coffee and water). Cocktails and Champagne excluded. A local drinks package that includes Croatian house wine (1 red, 1 white and 1 rose), Croatian beer, Croatian spirit and soft drinks can be arranged at 350.00 Euro per person per week. Alternatively, the guests can settle for drinks at the end of the cruise in cash as per consumption from the bar.
- A soft drinks package charged at 175.00 Euro per person per week can be arranged upon request. If guests choose a drinks package, everyone in the charter party must also have a drinks package. The guests cannot mix a drinks package with paying for drinks at the end of the cruise. The clients can bring their own drinks (an entire supply) with a 1,200 Euro corkage fee plus a soft drinks package per person per week for all guests in the party.
- Motorized water sports charged at 150.00 Euro per hour. Jet Ski charged 200.00 Euro per hour.
- Port taxes and moorings are around 1,600 Euro per week and payable with the final balance (mandatory cost, Luna must go to ports at least twice per week for the water supply and electricity re-charge).
Corkage fee - 1,200.00 Euro plus mandatory soft drinks package (175.00 Euro per person per week), the guests must bring all their drinks and soft drinks such as water, soft drinks, tea and coffee will be available on the bar.
If no drinks package taken - individual drinks purchased onboard payable at the end of the cruise.
Meal times: 09.00 to 11.00 breakfast, 13.00 to 15.00 lunch and 18.30 to 20.30 dinner
EXTRAS:
Port taxes: 1,600 € per week payable with the final balance (the port taxes do not include the entrance to the national parks or any marinas)
One way fee Split - Dubrovnik: 1,200 Euro supplement
(Above One-way fee only charged if we do not have an adjacent booking and we have to re-position the yacht at our own cost)
Motorized water toys charged at 150 Euro per hour. Luna has the following water toys: water ski, water donut (2), SUP (2), kayak, snorkeling gear and fishing rods (2). Jet ski available on request and charged at 200 Euro per hour (the Jet Ski license to use the Jet ski is mandatory). The guests can rent more water toys such as sea bobs, jet boards etc. Please note should your clients rent more water toys such as sea bobs, e foils etc. we would need to bring an extra deck hand to help with the water toys (extra charge).
Any extra fuel beyond 1,500 Euro included in the charter rate charged.
Discount for children's catering:
0 to 2 years old - free of charge
2 to 10 years old - 50% on food
