About the Crew
Marko Mrcic
Marko was the moving spirit of the Mrcic family to buy beautiful gulet Libra. The family is in various types of service industries for over 30 years; they have owned restaurants, clubs, and they still own excursion boats and luxury vacation villa. As Marko has always been devoted to the sea, he has been skippering on their family boat and in the bareboat charter. When Marko heard that Libra was for sale back in 2013, he was sure that it was the right yacht for him. Experienced sailor, in love with the Adriatic coast, completely service and client-orientated, Marko is an exemplary captain/owner. Marko speaks English, has detailed knowledge of the area, dynamic and welcoming he will suggest to his clients the best ideas, activities, and programs.

Karlo Mudnic
Karlo graduated from the School of Civil Engineering and Geodesy and became a construction technician. After working in electronic equipment businesses, Karlo decided to step up and move his career further by working on charter boats to improve his maritime and hospitality skills. Being a true team player and fluent in English he quickly became a valuable part of Libra’s crew. In his free time and for over 15 years, Karlo has been volunteering at Scout club “Split” where he greatly assists in conducting team meetings, organizing a youth scout program, scout camps, logistics, and administrative work.

Working onboard allows him to tailor menus directly to guests’ preferences and provide a personalized dining experience. Outside the galley, Jure enjoys fishing, hiking, photography, and sculpting.
STEWARDESS
Lucija Belamaric
Lucija is a dedicated stewardess returning to M/S Libra for another season, bringing with her valuable onboard experience and a strong foundation in hospitality. Inspired by her uncle and shaped by her upbringing in England, along with coursework in catering and stewardship, she developed a genuine passion for maritime hospitality. Her previous experience as a cook and waitress has strengthened her customer service skills and attention to detail. Lucija prioritizes guest satisfaction, values teamwork and organization, and is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere onboard. Her love for the sea and enthusiasm for hospitality continue to motivate her as she builds her career in the maritime industry. With her positive energy and dedication, Lucija consistently contributes to an exceptional guest experience aboard the vessel.

This was the best trip we've ever been on!

Brokers' Feedback 2025 (FAM TRIP)
“Libra was in great condition. Clean, stylish, and overall a really solid yacht. I absolutely love the LIBRA crew—they’re just great. It’s always the crew that makes or breaks a charter, and in this case, they’re what sets Libra apart.
Service and hospitality were spot on, and I’d have no hesitation recommending Libra to clients or other brokers. The central seating area is a real highlight—it’s a fantastic communal space that works perfectly for guests to relax and enjoy each other’s company.”
“I was only on board briefly, but my first impression during Marco’s tour on Day 1 was solid—I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Marco is honestly one of my favourite captains. He puts his heart and soul into everything, and it really shows. The crew I met seemed lovely—very friendly, always smiling, and clearly passionate about what they do. They seemed to operate well as a team and managed quite an interesting mix of guests during the fam trip, which is no small feat! The deckhand stood out as particularly friendly, and although the hostess wasn’t on board during the trip, I think once she’s back, the service side will be spot on. There’s something very charming about Libra—especially that mid-ship seating area, which is a classic gulet feature you don’t really see anymore. I personally love it, and I think clients will too. With Marco at the helm and the right setup, it’s easy to recommend Libra to both clients and other brokers.”
Holiday of a lifetime! September 2024
We truly had the best time! August 2024
Thank you to Antonio, Karlo x2, and Lucia for an unforgettable week!
We are not sure we have ever seen a storm quite like the one that kept u in in a bay for 24 hours but we had games of Poker, Scrabble, and a temporary screen set up for a movie night!
We truly had the best time and really hope to return to explore more of beautiful Croatia. With thanks and love from us!
Truly amazing! May 2024
One word: PERFECT! July 2023
An unforgettable sailing week in beautiful Croatia! May 2023
Libra and its staff were amazing! October 2022

OPTIONAL - APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance): 3,000 €
A fixed APA of 3,000 € is suggested to cover additional costs not included in the charter fee, such as the mentioned extra costs, shipping agents' fees, customs fees, and any special services or activities requested by the Charter Party during the charter. The APA simplifies the payment process for extra costs, ensuring the client doesn't need to worry about bringing or managing cash at the end of the week. Any unused portion of the APA will be refunded to the Charterer after the charter. If expenses exceed the fixed amount, any additional costs will be settled directly with the captain on board. The APA is optional, but if the client chooses not to pay it, they must ensure they have sufficient cash to cover all expenses at the end of the week.
NOTE: Gratuities/tips for the crew are not included, the industry’s standard is 10% to 15% of the base charter rate, given at the Charterer’s discretion.
OPTION REQUESTS POLICY
OPTION REQUEST
An option is placed only upon explicit written request and is valid until a clearly specified date and time, which will be communicated in our confirmation email.
We do not notify brokers when an option has expired or when a yacht is no longer available (e.g., placed under option or booked).
We do not accept multiple options for the same client across different yachts simultaneously.
PEAK SEASON POLICY: “First Come, First Served”
Due to high demand during peak booking season, we may apply a “first come – first served” policy. In these cases:
Options are placed only when the client accepts the charter offer and requests the charter contract.
The intent is to finalize the booking (have the charter agreement signed and the deposit paid) within the 2–3 day option window.
This ensures fair opportunity for all clients and encourages prompt decision-making.
