CAPTAIN – Haris Papaisidorou
Captain Haris was born in 1989 and he is a Greek national. He is holder of Greek Yacht License and Yacht Master Certificate. He has also extensive knowledge on engineering especially on Diesel Engines, hydraulic & electrical pump and much more. He comes from a family with long nautical tradition and has served as Captain on board charter and private yachts for more than ten years. He has overall responsibility of the vessel as well as of the safety of all passengers on board. Captain Haris is a very active and energetic person, he enjoys mountain biking, jet ski and photography but yachting is his great passion. He speaks Greek, fluent English and basic Italian.
CHEF – Maria Kousidi
Maria is a Greek national. She holds a Chef Diploma from the Greek Culinary School of Touristic Education and Instruction. She has attended courses in National Butcher School. She also holds a Level 5 Diploma-Technician of Culinary Art Certification from National Organization in Competence of Professional Skills and a ship cook certificate. In 2023, she gained a level 1 award in wines from WSET London. Maria has also a master in Economics & Business Administration from University of Western Attica. She has worked for many years in luxurious restaurants in Greece - such as Cape Sounio, Costa Navarino & Nobu Matsuhisa - France, Switzerland, Ireland and Austria. Maria specializes in both Mediterranean & International cuisine. She is very passionate about her cuisine, striving to present attractive menus and mouthwatering dishes. She joined Gia Sena’s team in 2024 and she speaks fluent English.
STEWARDESS - Emilia Tarasca
Emilia is a Greek, American & Italian national, born in 1998. Professional and adaptable with a strong background in luxury maritime hospitality and diverse business sectors. Experienced in delivering high-level guest service while supporting both interior and deck operations. A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and team spirit. Also experienced as a nanny, with a genuine ability to connect with and care for children. Before joining M/Y Gia Sena, she served on board S/Y Aegean Sea with responsibilities including full interior care, guest service, cocktail preparation and mooring/anchoring assistance. Additionally, her hospitality background incudes roles at Margiora Restaurant & Ta Thermia Café (Kythnos), Hotel Santa Maria Village (Milos) and Public relations & sales. Emilia is an asset to the crew; she is a great team player, hardworking and dedicated to complete customer satisfaction. She loves sports & travelling and speaks fluent English and Italian.
DECK HAND – Giannis Fertakis
Giannis was born in 1998 and he is a Greek national. He is a practical and adaptable professional with strong mechanical and marine engineering experience. He specializes in the maintenance, diagnostics and repair of marine engines bringing valuable technical expertise to onboard operations. His background also includes experience as a car mechanic, as well as in carpentry and roof construction. In addition, he has worked in customer-facing roles as a shift manager demonstrating reliability, teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure. Giannis speaks English and enjoys travelling.
