About the Crew
Joaquin Manchego | Captain | USA
Originally from Colorado, Joaquin quickly realized that the chilly Rocky Mountains weren’t for him. In 1999, he made the move to Florida—and found his true element by the sea. It was there that his yachting journey began, and over 25 years later, he’s still passionate about the industry, with 15 of those years spent as a licensed captain.
Joaquin has navigated extensively throughout the Bahamian islands, the Caribbean, the U.S. East Coast, and the scenic shores of New England. Known for his calm demeanor and wealth of knowledge, Joaquin and his experienced crew are dedicated to going above and beyond, ensuring that each moment on board becomes a cherished memory.
When he’s not at sea, you’ll find Joaquin diving, hiking, or out on the golf course. He’s also an avid reader, always chasing new stories—whether through real-life experiences or the pages of a good book.
Jesse Ellis | Mate | USA
Hailing from a quiet countryside town in the northeast corner of Maryland, Jesse grew up with a fishing rod in hand and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. His love for the water started early, casting lines with family along local creeks and rivers. A natural athlete with a passion for baseball, Jesse’s talent earned him two years of college before he ultimately followed his true calling to the sea.
In 2014, Jesse set his course for South Florida, where he discovered a new love: diving. Since then, he’s built an impressive maritime résumé, working across various marinas and vessels while honing his skills as an exceptional fisherman. His dedication to the ocean goes beyond work—he’s actively participated in marine conservation efforts, including ocean cleanup initiatives. Jesse holds a U.S. Coast Guard 200-ton license and is Advanced Open Water certified.
Kimberly Pandel | Stewardess | USA
A proud Fort Lauderdale native, Kimberly was born to embrace the coastal lifestyle. After earning her nursing degree, her adventurous spirit and love for travel naturally led her to the yachting industry in 2020. Since then, she’s had the opportunity to sail to some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.
Kimberly’s true passion lies in creating unforgettable guest experiences. From hosting lively theme nights and mixing creative cocktails to curating an exceptional selection of wines and premium spirits, she brings a thoughtful and personalized touch to every charter. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (Adult/Pediatric), her healthcare background adds an extra layer of care and comfort, ensuring guests feel at ease from the moment they step aboard.
When she’s not exploring the globe, Kimberly stays active with hot yoga and rollerblading by the beach.
