MASON WATERS | FIRST MATE | USA
Mason Waters (Mate) Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Mason Waters has been passionate about the ocean since his first trip to the Florida Keys in 1998. From that moment, a lifelong love for the sea was born. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida, Mason was set to begin the police academy in 2019. However, just before starting, he couldn’t shake the thought of pursuing a career in the yachting industry. He took the leap, packed his bags, and headed to Ft. Lauderdale during the 2019 boat show to begin his journey. Starting with humble beginnings washing boats, Mason’s determination paid off after six months when he landed his first job aboard a 112' motor yacht. Over the next three years, he honed his skills and earned his captain’s license, furthering his experience on 112’, 121’, and 125’ yachts. While these years provided invaluable learning opportunities, Mason had always envisioned a future in the yachting business industry . Now, as a dedicated captain and mate, he helps others realize their dreams of experiencing the ocean’s freedom, just as he has. Mason is committed to guiding clients in their yachting journey, sharing his passion for the sea and ensuring that they enjoy the same sense of adventure that has fueled his career.
