Asaf Diga
Captain Asaf Diga brings over 20 years of professional experience across the yachting and commercial maritime sectors, successfully commanding vessels throughout the Mediterranean, Pacific, and Australian waters. Known for his strong leadership and meticulous operational standards, he combines expert seamanship with a deep commitment to safety, technical management, and crew coordination.
With extensive experience across private and charter superyachts up to 46 metres, as well as passenger vessels, Captain Diga excels in navigation, guest experience, and shipyard supervision. His background includes major refit oversight, new-build deliveries, and managing high-demand charter programs to consistently elevated standards.
Certified as a Croatian Master (500GT), Chief Mate (3000GT), and Yachtmaster 200GT, alongside comprehensive STCW, engineering proficiency, and safety qualifications, Captain Diga offers a calm, disciplined, and highly capable command presence. Passionate about the sea, diving, and travel, he brings both professionalism and personable hospitality to every vessel he leads.
Rey began his journey in 2004 as a Messman aboard TB Salog Tres in Guam before advancing to Able Seaman on M/V Britannia Star at Port Zante. In 2009, he transitioned into the yachting industry with M/Y Luisa, steadily rising through the ranks from Deckhand (2009–2013) to Chief Mate (2013–2015), and ultimately to Captain, a position he has proudly held since 2016. His long‑term command of M/Y Luisa reflects not only his technical competence but also his reliability, integrity, and strong rapport with owners, crew, and guests.
Known for his calm demeanor, meticulous approach, and passion for the sea, Rey takes pride in delivering smooth, secure, and memorable yachting experiences. Based in Iloilo, Philippines, he continues to bring dedication and expertise to every voyage, always prioritizing safety, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.
