About the Crew
OSMAN ŞİMŞEK - CAPTAIN
• I was born in 1989 in Uşak and originally come from Düzce. After
completing my education in Fethiye, Düzce, Ankara, and Anchorage
(USA), I started my maritime career in 2015. Over the years, I’ve
worked in both Greece and Japan, gaining valuable international
experience.
• I’ve been serving as a captain for five years and currently
command LAVIN, my first commercial yacht following four seasons
aboard private motor yachts. I speak English fluently and have a
good level of Japanese. I also hold a Yacht Captain’s License, STCW
safety certificates, and a radio operator certificate.
• I’m known for remaining calm in challenging conditions and
responding swiftly in emergency situations. My priority is always
the safety and satisfaction of our guests, ensuring they enjoy a
smooth and memorable journey.
ERDAL SAPAZ– CHEF
• I was born in 1995 and raised in Germany, where I also
completed my culinary education in 2016. Since then, I’ve
worked as a chef aboard three private motor yachts. This is my
first season working in Türkiye, where I now live.
• I speak German and Turkish as my native languages and have a
basic command of English. I hold certificates in culinary arts,
gastronomy, and event management, and I have a strong
command of international cuisine.
• Passionate about cooking and traveling, my goal this season is
to further develop my experience and ensure our guests enjoy
every moment of their journey through exceptional food and
service.
VEYSEL KAYA – DECKHAND
• My name is Veysel Kaya, born in 2004 and a citizen of the Republic
of Turkey. I have been working in the maritime industry for about 7
years, with over 5 years of experience as a deckhand.
• I’ve worked on various vessels including Ölüdeniz Bubbles Diving
Center, Demir Bey private tour boat, and the commercial
gulets Queen Atlantis (37m) and Prenses Selin (36m). I also hold a
seaman’s certificate, a 3-star introductory diving specialist license,
and both A2 motorcycle and B class driving licenses.
• With a B2 level in English, I’m confident in communication and
problem-solving. I take pride in being a team player and always aim
to ensure every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable experience
onboard.
EMİNE DİLAN ŞENTÜRK STEWARDESS
